Vinayaka Missions University (VMU), also known as Vinayaka Mission’s Research Foundation (VMRF), is a NAAC-accredited deemed-to-be university located in Salem, Tamil Nadu. Established in 1981 by philanthropist Dr. A. Shanmugasundaram, the university initially began as the Thirumuruga Kirupananda Variyar Thavathiru Sundara Swamigal (TKVTSS) Medical Educational and Charitable Trust. It gained its “deemed-to-be” status in 2001 and is known for its multicultural atmosphere, embracing students from all backgrounds. Paramedical Courses:
Vinayaka Missions University offers paramedical courses in the Allied Health Sciences department, available at Salem and Puducherry campuses. Courses include B.Sc., B.Optom, BASLP, M.Sc., and Diplomas.

• Eligibility: For B.Sc., candidates must have completed 12th grade with a science background. For BASLP, a 12th grade qualification in PCMB is required.
• For M.Sc., a relevant B.Sc. is needed.

Medical Courses:
The university offers MBBS, MD, MS, and PG Diploma courses, with approvals from the Medical Council of India (MCI).

• Eligibility for MBBS: Must be 17 years old by 31st December of the admission year, have cleared NEET-UG with the required percentile, and have completed 12th grade with PCB.
• Eligibility for PG courses: A recognized MBBS degree with permanent registration with MCI or any state medical council is required.

Engineering & Management Courses

Engineering:
Offering B.E./B.Tech and M.E./M.Tech courses, including both full-time and part-time options, with accreditation from AICTE.

• Eligibility for B.E./B.Tech: Completion of 12th grade with Physics and Mathematics (and an additional subject) with a minimum of 45% marks.
• Eligibility for M.E./M.Tech: A B.Tech degree with at least 50% marks (45% for reserved categories).

Management:
The university offers a range of MBA programs across 13 specializations and an M.Com program.

• Eligibility for MBA: A relevant Bachelor’s degree with a minimum of 50% marks (45% for reserved categories).
